Chat Room Schedule
The chat room is open each evening and offers a variety of different rooms depending on your needs. Once inside the chat interface, choose one of the following rooms: Quiet Room, Support Room, Just For Fun, For Wives and Girlfriends, Unit Chat, Boots & Recruits and Gold Star. The "Just For Fun" room runs at a quick pace, but jump right in! The other chat rooms are more specific to needs and/or questions. Our volunteers staff the chat room and are happy to help you get started. The chat room is a warm atmosphere to connect and share.

Message Boards & Forum
A message board is always open; people use the boards to post questions, respond to questions, tell stories and share concerns. We have a board for Parents of Recruits and a board for Parents of Marines totalling over 12,000 active members as of May, 2005. You'll find forums within the boards for your recruits graduation day and a form for each Marine Corps unit. That means your talking to families whose Marine or Recruit if with YOUR Marine or Recruit. Folks are really enjoying it as a Place to Connect & Share®.
Stories & Prayers
We started this section prior to the war and we still get an occasional contribution. If you have something to contribut to this section, it will remain a permanent fixture on www.MarineParents.com.
Support Groups
This is a list of regional support groups-not online groups, but actual groups that are meeting around the country; check frequently for one in your area or use the tips and ideas to start your own regional support group. We add to the list each time a new support group is up and running, so be sure to add your support group so other's may find you..

If you're looking for more ways to communicate with other Marine parents, wives, family and friends, be sure to check out the link on the left, under "Deployment" titled "Lists & Names" to view the names of Marines deployed to Iraq and frequently an email link to the family member that listed the Marine. You can search by state then look for folks in or around your home town.
